There are plenty of news in iPadOS 15, such as widgets anywhere on the homescreen, just like on the iPhone, and the aforementioned excellent Quick Note feature. But not all new things are big, shiny features that makes for great screenshots. Some are just wonderful settings, such as this one.
With iPadOS 15 comes the new App Library, which iOS got last year. I like this feature a lot, and it makes a lot of sense when combining stashing your apps in the App Library (rather than on your homescreens) and having informative widgets front and center instead. This, on an iPad, is great. I’m thrilled to see that the option to automatically stick new apps in the App Library, and enabling notification badges there too. And yes, you can do that on an iPhone too, something I definitely recommend.
