Hi!

Finally! Yeah, I really need to write that because Substack really didn’t want Switch to iPad– a modest publication by their standards – to move. A week of hoops and stalling later, and we’re finally free to manage our own faith.

You don’t have to do anything! It’s business as usual, subscriptions have been resumed, no extra charges or anything.

To wrap up what’s happened thus far:

• Paid memberships are managed by Memberful. There’s a link in every email, and will be on the site shortly too. If you’re a paying member, manage your membership here.
• All emails are now managed by Mailerlite (this too). You don’t have to change anything there either, although it’s always good practice to save the sending email address in the address book, and Gmail users should move the email to the Priority mailbox to avoid weird sorting. It’s the nature of email, I’m afraid. Oh, and you can obviously unsubscribe whenever you like, the link’s at the bottom of each email.

The coming days will see the weekly member post (aka newsletter) get published on the Switch to iPad site. Many of these will be free for all, others will require a subscription. For more on this, see this update that I published on August 17th.

I’m thrilled to be almost-done with this move. It’s been taxing, and made unnecessarily complicated by Substack. Memberful, on the other hand, has been a treat to work with, understanding and helpful all the way.

Now, can we please get back to talking about iPads? I sure miss it! If you haven’t noticed, there’s been a few updates on the site since the last newsletter. I’m just going to leave you with those, while I struggle with the last few issues here.
